To protect myself and my identity, I will not disclose my real name. I left this school a long time ago. I finished school present-day but back then, I traveled from overseas and did not have the opportunity to go to college due to circumstances. This is not the school you want to go to if you want to make friends. I remember turning my head to say hi to a girl next to me and she shrugged her shoulders and went back looking at her paper. I went home, cried, and switched classes because she was so rude. I thought to myself, "If she can do this to me, then so can the entire student body." Do not go here if you failed high school. The campus is very beautiful nonetheless.

been a student here for 3 years. really enjoyed it up until I applied for the health program and they denied me even though I worked so hard. I had to email them to even get a final answer , they didn’t even email me first to let me know. So now I am graduating in May and all I can say is they don’t care about the people who work hard that deserve a spot in their health programs. I got higher scores than people in my classes & still got denied. Unbelievable.

To be honest it’s a really beautiful campus, but the staff here are not the best. The advisors need to be more educated when it comes to giving advice for the health programs offered here (Nursing, Dental, Radiography). I’ve spoken to so many others doing these majors and they all agree they weren’t told everything. For starters, I came here trying to enter one of these programs and was told by one advisor (young woman with glasses) that I didn’t have to take biology or chemistry because I did them in high school. I assumed I was fine because I passed those classes, however they weren’t anything impressive. After talking with my peers, I found out last minute that I should sign up quickly to retake these 2 classes and try to get an A or else I probably wouldn’t even be considered for my program (which eventually screwed up my schedule and financial aid). My high school grades were not the best so I don’t know why she didn’t suggest to retake them here if I’m trying to compete to get in. I went to sign up last minute with a different advisor who was giving me some attitude about trying to get into classes last minute. I don’t see how that’s my fault when I took initiative to make su

Unfortunately they have no teachers and the ones they do have don’t even teach. You’re basically teaching yourself and giving a teacher a free paycheck . Edison received all this money and instead of utilizing for supplies and enhancing the school district it decided to build a stadium. It makes no sense. No quizzes, no homework, no books in some classes. Science labs missing equipment and using outdated equipment. Some teachers don’t follow the syllabus. You are on your own. Most students drop their classes. The class goes from 20 to 6 and the teacher don’t care. They don’t even realize it’s because they are horrible. They only have one teacher per subject. So instead of finishing in 2 years you’re stuck doing 3/4 because they have no classes or teachers. Or you failed because the teacher is horrible. So now you’re paying more to take the class again somewhere else.. save yourself!!the counselors are clueless and not helpful at all! Students are teaching themselves using YouTube teachers. .. You are truly teaching yourself!! Maybe they should pay the students instead of the lazy teachers.
